Profile

Dr. Areej Alkhaldy is an Associate Professor at the Clinical Nutrition Department, King Abdualziz University. She is a Registered Clinical Dietitian (Saudi Commission for Health Specialties). Her main practice includes the nutritional management for patients with gastrointestinal diseases and obesity. Dr. Areej Alkhaldy has interest and experience in strategic planning, quality, and accreditation. She has worked with several quality assurance consultants. Dr. Alkhaldy has worked on a variety of research topics in Clinical Nutrition. Her key research areas include polyphenols metabolism and colon health as well as nutrition-related chronic diseases in Saudi Arabia such as colon cancer and obesity.
